Charging infrastructure
Mobility Denmark counted 30,439 public charge points at end-2024, up 69.5% year on year. Industry/FDM reporting indicated roughly 50,000 by February 2026, including about 7,000 above 100kW; because that later count was not found in a machine-readable public authority series, it is contextual rather than a sizing input.

AFIR requires public charging operators to provide specified static and dynamic data in DATEX II through Denmark’s national access point from 14 April 2026. This strengthens diagnostics and charger-versus-vehicle fault evidence.

Business, tax and investment incentives
The standard corporate-tax rate is 22%. VAT registration is generally mandatory above DKK50,000 annual taxable turnover, and the standard VAT rate is 25%; obtain Danish tax advice on permanent establishment, payroll, transfer pricing and group charges.

Labour and high-voltage competence
Denmark has no single EV-mechanic licence that substitutes for employer duties. EVS must document risk assessment, instruction, suitable equipment, manufacturer procedures and competent roles. Traction systems are outside parts of the Electrical Safety Act, so generic electrician authorisation alone is not proof of vehicle-HV competence.

Recruiting is a launch gate. Build an AMU/OEM/DTI-backed competence matrix and pay for practical platform tests; do not invent a national technician-shortage statistic without a comparable Danish series.
Battery, waste, fire, F-gas and privacy
EU Batteries Regulation duties apply across lifecycle; Danish producer responsibility may attach when EVs/batteries are first placed on the Danish market. Routine service does not automatically make EVS the producer, but importing, repurposing or own-brand resale may.
